Had no idea you cycle. It's hard to imagine traveling on a train lugging all that stuff. You are SO right about conflict. In my first manuscript, I just wanted my characters to be happy, so I made all of the conflict between the secondary characters. You can understand why that manuscript is under the mattresss.
